The Candy Man Can.

Good morning, starshine! The Earth says hello!

I just watched the old "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," and the whole time I had to tell my sister to stop complaining about how the new version is better. But, it was worth it. I hadn't seen that movie since I was, perhaps, six!

Are Oompa Loompas naturally orange? Or was it simply a bad spray tan?

Here on the island, time moves differently. I'm not kidding. Half an hour becomes forty-five minutes. This rare - but not unheard of - condition goes by the name of "Island Time." See, my sister's camp is supposed to end at four. And she appears out of nowhere at 3:11. Very mysterious...

You know how on "Project Runway" they sometimes use really strange objects to make clothing? I think someone should make a dress out of a coffee filter. Has it been done? Maybe I shall. Of course...I'd actually need more than ONE coffee filter, contrary to my previous statement.

What do you get when you guzzle down sweets? Eating as much as an elephant eats?

There is a very large bear sleeping in a chair, next to me.  I wish bears hung out at MY local library.

This is a colorful sentence.

Cartoons with good music are...good! Take "Arthur", for instance!

Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card!
A-A-R-D-V-A-R-K!
Crown City, you're dynamite! You're peaches and cream!

I also enjoy "Phineas and Ferb"

Doofenschmirtz Evil Inc.!

I have never succesfully flown a kite in my life. I think that is a very sad state of affairs and if any of you would like to teach me the art of Kite-Flying, I would be much obliged.

"There is no life I know that compares with pure imagination."

And, with that, I say adieu.

Nostalgic and Guilty Tears

So...today I went to go see "Toy Story 3." Now, let me start off by saying that if you knew me as a very small child, you would know how...monumental this is. I used to watch "Toy Story" over and over again. I cried for a whole day when I lost my Woody doll's hat at the Farmer's Market. I dressed up as Jessie the Cowgirl for Halloween, and waited for months until I had my own Jessie doll. So, this was a big deal.

It...did not end well.

At the end of the movie I was sobbing. And, this is not an exageration AT ALL. My friend Madeline was quite concerned for me. When I dropped her off at home, her mother asked how the movie was and I broke into fresh sobs. I came home and tore apart my basement in an attempt to find my Woody and Jessie dolls.

I was a bit concerned for myself. Although, it was a great movie, the ending was so heartwrenching that I don't know that I will ever be able to like it. I'm sorry, Fans of the Movie.

I am currently baking a pizza. Let's hope I don't forget it in the oven.

Current Favorite Song= "The Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice.

My music tastes change often, but lately I'm loving "Coffee Shop" sounding songs, Broadway (naturally), and a lot of movie soundtracks. Suggestions always appreciated.

Starting Over

Okay. So, I haven't really done this in a year. Then, I went and deleted all of my old posts, because I felt like a fresh start would be nice.

So...let's see how this goes, shall we?

I'm one of those people who make a lot of plans in their heads, but rarely follow through. I have been "planning" to clean my room, for about a week, now. But, there's so many other things to do!! "There's places to go, people to see..."

Bye, Bye Birdie reference, there. Yeah...I JUST CAN'T ESCAPE IT!!

You know something I hate? Formspring. I tried it...and tried it again, but it just bothers me. I give up. That's okay, though.

IT'S ALMOST MY BIRTHDAY!! My real one. Not the one Facebook has DECIDED is my birthday, and won't let me change. I love birthdays. Yours, mine, ours....(?) they're all good.

Okay, that's about it, for now. See you (?) soon!
